The Research Inquiry Analyst role is an onsite position in Belcamp, MD, paying $65,000–$85,000 per year. SURVICE Engineering supports the Department of Defense and other government and industry organizations, with a mission to protect, enhance, and enable those who defend the United States. The analyst researches and responds to technical inquiries and supports the DoD science and technology community with documented research, analysis, and information products. The role helps ensure inquiries are answered accurately and on time while contributing to the management and usefulness of IAC resources.

What you'll do

• Research and respond to technical inquiries across IAC chartered focus areas
• assist subject-area leads and subject-matter experts with research and formal responses, documenting sources and methods
• close inquiries in accordance with contract and quality-control requirements
• maintain the subject-matter expert database
• conduct literature searches in DTIC and open-source databases
• analyze data to improve IAC products and services
• process scientific and technical information for the DTIC R&E Gateway
• support IAC website and social media initiatives as requested
• document process lessons and contribute to webinars, reports, and news digests.
