Project Engineer — Product Development

Job overview

The Project Engineer — Product Development role is onsite in Everett, WA; applicants must be able to commute to magniX’s location. Compensation is $130,000–$190,000 per year. magniX develops electric-age technologies, including aerospace-grade batteries, power electronics, and electric engines. The engineer manages project scope, deliverables, resources, budgets, and schedules from initiation through delivery. Coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking risks and progress, and maintaining product configuration information help advance product development and meet project objectives.

What you'll do

• Own project deliverables and outcomes
• organize project activities and integrated product team meetings
• develop project plans, budgets, and task management
• track progress and resolve issues
• identify variances and manage actions to keep milestones on track
• coordinate cross-functional teams
• communicate status to management and team members
• manage risks and facilitate decisions
• maintain the product bill of materials and configuration control across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or Program Manager. Battery or electric motor product-development experience and PMP certification are preferred.
