What you'll do

• Administer, develop, test, implement, and maintain operating systems and related software
• establish computer operations standards
• troubleshoot software, operating system, and networking problems
• schedule and monitor backups and perform data recovery when needed
• recommend hardware and software upgrades
• plan and perform system upgrades and test-to-production transitions
• configure workstations, printers, servers, and tape devices
• provide technical support to system users.
