What you'll do

• Review menus and determine food quantities
• submit food orders and help maintain inventory
• consult the Dietary Supervisor about leftovers and storage
• consult the registered dietitian on modified diets
• supervise food preparation by dietary workers and assist with staff training
• prepare and cook foods according to recipes and resident diet orders
• test food temperatures
• prepare and identify nourishment and supplements
• maintain infection-prevention practices and a clean kitchen.
