• Perform direct patient care, determine patient health status and needs, utilize a systematic approach to provide individualized nursing care, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, formulate nursing care plans, implement nursing care within scope of practice, develop and implement teaching plans for patients, provide education and emotional support, provide age-specific care, manage care for multiple patients, evaluate patient responses to therapeutic interventions, use critical thinking for decision making.
