Operations Controller

The Operations Controller role is onsite in Gainesville, FL, with a Monday–Friday schedule and stated pay of $100,000–$110,000 per year. The role supports accounting activity for assigned accounts and assists the Regional Director of Finance with regional financial activities. Canteen provides food, service, and workplace experiences through markets, office coffee and snacks, unattended retail, and culinary services.

What you'll do

• Oversee cash-handling procedures
• reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
• analyze financial results
• track monthly profit-and-loss and balance-sheet activity
• develop forecasts and budgets and identify risks and opportunities
• review general ledger and balance sheets
• resolve accounting and reconciliation issues
• prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• maintain inventory and cost controls
• administer payroll and human resources
• and complete related duties and special projects.

Why this role

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience is preferred. Requires at least five years of experience with revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling, plus accounting experience in foodservice or retail. Foodservice operations experience is a plus.
