Compensation is $22–$0 per hour. The Maintenance is an onsite role located in Brookhaven, NY. This position supports the facility operations at Bellhaven Center. This role exists to maintain the facility and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff. The maintenance worker performs routine repairs and upkeep to keep all systems functioning properly.
What you'll do
- Work to repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning.
- Handle electrical routines such as replacing light bulbs, batteries on smoke alarms, and ballasts.
- Perform plumbing duties, including unclogging sinks, toilets, and repairing faucets.
- Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
- Maintain an atmosphere which allows privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents, staff, and visitors.
- Respond to off-hours critical calls to resolve facility issues.
