What you'll do

• Review patient medical information, allergies, procedures, prescriptions, history, and medications
• take vital signs
• educate patients and obtain informed consent
• complete EMR charting
• prepare procedure rooms and patients
• participate in conscious sedation for selected patients as needed, with company-provided training
• assist physicians during procedures
• answer patient questions and resolve complaints
• monitor recovery and complete recovery documentation
• review discharge instructions and medications
• assist with ordering supplies
• conduct and document next-day follow-up calls
• provide health education
• comply with state and federal law.

Why this role
