Electrical Engineering Department Manager

Job overview

The Electrical Engineering Department Manager will be located in either Granite Falls, MN, or Greenville, SC. The salary range is $160,000–$170,000 per year. The manager leads Larson Engineering’s electrical engineering team and supports industrial electrical projects and business growth. The role provides technical leadership from project concept through construction, oversees design quality and code compliance, and coordinates multidisciplinary teams and clients. It also develops engineers, supports recruiting and retention, and cultivates client relationships and new project work.

What you'll do

• Serve as technical authority on industrial electrical projects
• oversee electrical design from concept through construction
• lead and mentor engineers and designers
• coordinate multidisciplinary teams and clients
• oversee electrical design documents and analyses
• ensure QA/QC and compliance with safety standards and codes
• develop client relationships and project opportunities
• support recruiting, field assessments, and construction
• improve design processes and tools.
