Director of Business Development

The Director of Business Development role is hybrid in Denver, CO; compensation is $130,000–$160,000 per year. The director oversees the proposal team and campaigns across Matrix Design Group’s 13 business units, working with strategy, marketing, communications, and senior leadership. The director translates firmwide goals into business development and marketing initiatives, leads sales and proposal operations, and builds client relationships to support strategic growth and successful pursuits.

What you'll do

• Organize and manage sales efforts
• set sales objectives
• manage CRM and client data
• work with technical staff on proposals, scopes, and fee estimates
• develop business development strategy and seller-doer programs
• train staff
• build client relationships and assess pursuits
• lead proposal-team schedules and assignments
• research markets and growth opportunities
• and travel as needed.
