Solution Architect Lead – Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure

Job overview

The Solution Architect Lead works in Washington, DC, with a hybrid arrangement and flexible work-from-home options available. The stated pay is $85–$90 per hour. The role serves as technical design authority for STAAND, the District’s federally certified comprehensive platform supporting child welfare services. This hands-on architect owns platform architecture, security design, AI engineering, and release cadence while personally configuring, coding, prototyping, reviewing, and troubleshooting. The work supports a person-centric platform used by social workers, supervisors, agency partners, providers, resource parents, and District agencies.

What you'll do

• Own and maintain architecture, data models, solution segmentation, environment strategy, and integration topology
• build and configure Dynamics 365 and Power Platform components
• establish architecture standards and review significant designs
• diagnose platform issues
• design and secure boundaries between government and commercial cloud services
• develop and evaluate AI agents and workflows
• implement responsible AI controls
• manage model lifecycle and platform releases
• maintain architecture artifacts for audits and governance.
