Collision Body Technician

Job overview

The Collision Body Technician works onsite in Columbus, GA, to provide collision and glass repair services. The role offers a flat rate of $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, supporting the repair facility team in achieving key performance indicators. The role exists to restore customer vehicles to pre-accident condition through meticulous assessment, disassembly, repair, and reassembly. The technician ensures quality and speed in all repairs while serving as a brand ambassador for The Boyd Group.

What you'll do

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins.
• Realign car chassis and frames.
• Remove and replace damaged sections and parts.
• Repair or replace glass and interior parts.
• Weld and attach parts.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles after repair.
