Test Lab Equipment Operator

The Test Lab Equipment Operator role is onsite at a customer location in Sunnyvale, CA, beginning on day one. Compensation is not specified. The operator supports engineering teams with PCB testing and test-station setup and qualification. The role runs repeatable tests, maintains unit and fixture records, and helps keep lab spaces and equipment organized. Accurate test execution and documentation support engineering evaluation and qualification work.

What you'll do

• Perform PCB testing using complex semi-automated equipment
• maintain records for unit movement and fixture maintenance
• help engineering teams set up and qualify test stations by following direction and performing initial qualification testing
• help organize lab spaces and keep equipment up to date
• document procedures as required
• support tests including drop, thermal cycling, and shear/pull strength
• perform cross-sectioning and measurement/analysis tasks including X-ray and microscope measurement.
