Service Technician, Swimming Pools

Job overview

The Service Technician works onsite in Alexandria, VA; compensation is $28–$35 per hour. Azureon provides swimming pool solutions for residential and commercial renovation and new construction projects, with a stated goal of exceeding client expectations. The technician maintains assigned pools by testing and balancing water, cleaning surfaces, and inspecting and repairing equipment. Accurate service records, safe work practices, and customer recommendations help keep pools operating reliably and meet client expectations.

What you'll do

• Maintain assigned swimming pools and care for truck, equipment, and tools
• test water chemistry and add chemicals as needed
• clean pool surfaces
• identify worn parts and recommend equipment upgrades or finish options
• assess pool safety and maintenance needs
• identify extensive repairs and possible leaks and report them to a supervisor
• perform winterizing procedures
• train coworkers or assistants
• complete work orders and record services, photos, chemical readings, and dosages
• keep the truck organized and stocked
• follow and promote safety procedures.
