The Crisis Stabilization Unit Navigator role is onsite at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael, CA. Pay is $22.98–$25.34 per hour. Hope Cooperative provides housing, mental health services, substance-use rehabilitation, and life-skills support to people experiencing instability. The navigator provides recovery-focused crisis intervention, resource connections, and system navigation for people experiencing mental health crises. The role supports timely access to services, wellness and recovery, and efforts to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations and law-enforcement expenditures.

What you'll do

• Provide active listening, empathy, and recovery-oriented support
• observe, assess, intervene, and refer within scope of practice
• connect clients with community resources and advocate with or for them
• complete program forms, reports, and documentation
• maintain clean and safe spaces where applicable
• fulfill mandated reporter and duty-to-warn responsibilities
• transport clients as needed
• protect confidential health information.
