What you'll do

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing, linens, and facility laundry
• maintain clean-linen supplies and distribute them to departments
• label and process personal clothing and return items to appropriate rooms and storage
• operate laundry equipment safely and maintain chemical supplies
• weigh, track, and process laundry according to facility procedures and sanitation standards
• keep the work area clean and organized
• report equipment issues and safety hazards
• follow HIPAA, infection-control, safety, and facility policies
• participate in quality improvement initiatives.
