The English, Reading & Writing Tutor role is onsite in Lake in the Hills, IL. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Teach Reading, Writing, English, Literature, and/or SAT/ACT preparation
• follow the center's curriculum and individualized student programs
• monitor student understanding and provide encouragement and feedback
• help students develop academic skills, confidence, and motivation.

Why this role

Paid training and ongoing professional development are provided. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required; teaching or tutoring experience, including SAT/ACT preparation, is preferred. Teaching hours are scheduled around availability, Monday–Thursday 2:00–8:30 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m.–3 p.m.
