The Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver Trainer role is onsite in Middletown, VA, with 50%–75% travel within Virginia. Compensation is $25–$30 per hour. The trainer supports Ancora Education’s CDL training program at the assigned location. The role exists to prepare students to pass and obtain their Commercial Driver’s Licenses through classroom instruction, over-the-road training, and maneuvering-range practice. It also supports a safe, organized learning environment and maintains student progress records.

What you'll do

• Train students in trucking and driving
• teach classroom material and administer written tests
• conduct commercial vehicle pre-trip inspections
• instruct air-brake tests and backing, alley-docking, and parallel-parking maneuvers
• assess student skills and progress
• maintain student attendance and performance records
• promote a safe learning environment and follow applicable policies and regulations.
