What you'll do

  • Provide care and support personal development and independence
  • maintain residents’ safety and well-being
  • teach activities of daily living, self-help, and social skills
  • prepare reports and daily logs
  • respond to crises and medical emergencies and provide first aid within established guidelines
  • assist with transportation, meal planning, food purchasing, housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and light maintenance
  • implement behavioral programs and participate in interdisciplinary planning
  • administer prescribed medications after completing the required course and in accordance with agency protocol
  • support personal hygiene and maintain confidential records.
