What you'll do

• Represent Administration and provide collaborative, transformational leadership to resolve clinical and administrative issues.
• Respond to potential and/or actual emergency situations with direct and appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with others to facilitate timely patient admission, transfers, and staffing needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of staffing, payroll, coaching, orientation, trainings, and midnight census records.
• Possess strong knowledge base of regulatory standards and take appropriate action to improve/achieve compliance.
• Demonstrate clinical competency and assist programs with the management of clinical events.
• Effectively manage change, team building, and engagement of employees.
• Coordinate utilization of personnel, equipment, and supplies in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Oversee and provide quality care to all patients and families.
• Provide for recruitment orientation, in-service training, and continuing education for all staff.
• Continually assess and improve department performance.
• Consistently hold others accountable for behaviors aligned with organizational values and policy.
• Effectively use coaching and management of performance skills to achieve high-quality patient care.
• Complete rounds on patients and staff to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Engage self and others in shared governance process.
