Part-Time Teacher’s Aide

The Part-Time Teacher’s Aide role is onsite in Rutland, MA, Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with pay of $21.12–$24.58 per hour. Devereux’s Massachusetts day school serves students with complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. The aide supports student safety, therapeutic interventions, positive behavior, and daily living skills while contributing documentation and direct supervision as part of an interdisciplinary team serving students’ educational and developmental needs.

What you'll do

• Provide direct supervision to support youth safety and security
• provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate environment
• engage youth positively, teach and prompt appropriate behaviors, and reinforce them
• teach and assist with activities of daily living
• complete progress notes and incident reports.

Why this role
