Maintenance Technician II – Manufacturing Equipment

The Maintenance Technician II role is onsite in Syracuse, NY, with compensation of $24–$32 per hour. The posting offers either Monday–Friday, 6 p.m.–2:30 a.m., or Monday–Thursday, 1 p.m.–11:30 p.m. shifts at Jaquith Industries’ Maintenance department. The technician maintains manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, reliable production. Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and clear work documentation help reduce downtime and keep equipment ready for operations.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including CNC, laser cutting, welding, and automated systems within training and qualifications
• maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• troubleshoot authorized electrical components and basic controls
• perform preventive maintenance
• assist with installations and rebuilds
• maintain facility systems
• document work and coordinate priorities
• follow safety procedures and verify equipment operation before returning it to production.
