The Cook role is onsite in Canton, NC, with pay of $12–$18 per hour. The cook joins Haywood Springs’ culinary team to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. The role supports residents’ well-being through timely meal preparation and service that follows menus, dietary requirements, food-safety practices, and resident preferences, while helping maintain kitchen operations and supplies.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements
• serve meals on time with attention to quality, portion control, and presentation
• maintain a clean, organized, sanitary kitchen
• store and handle food supplies properly
• collaborate with the Dietary Manager and kitchen staff
• assist with training new kitchen staff as needed
• help track inventory and report shortages
• respond to special dietary requests and resident preferences
• follow health and safety regulations.
