The Direct Support Professional — Residential role is onsite in Spencerport, NY, and pays $21.55 per hour. The schedule is part-time, 20 hours per week: Friday 3 p.m.–9 p.m., Saturday 7 a.m.–3 p.m., and Sunday 3 p.m.–9 p.m. Lifetime Assistance’s mission is to foster independence, dignity, and respect for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The professional provides personal care and daily-living support while helping individuals build independence, self-help, and social skills. The role also supports safety, individualized service plans, community participation, and communication with families and colleagues.

What you'll do

• Assist with hygiene, grooming, dressing, meals, and household tasks
• support independence and social skills
• help ensure health and safety, including medication administration if certified
• implement and document individualized service plans
• encourage community participation
• drive agency vehicles as needed
• communicate with individuals, families, and colleagues
• complete required training.
