This role exists to develop and execute logistics sourcing strategies and procure logistics-related services. The buyer manages multimodal logistics spend, carrier capacity, and network performance to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.

What you'll do

• Support organizational impact across the logistics procurement portfolio by helping manage annual transportation, warehousing, brokerage, ocean, and related logistics spend.
• Lead the execution of logistics procurement priorities by independently coordinating work across internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate with and influence a broad base of carriers, brokers, warehouses, distributors, internal stakeholders, and other logistics suppliers.
• Provide coverage for higher-complexity procurement responsibilities as business needs require.
• Support performance outcomes for assigned logistics and distributor operations workstreams.
• Executes established governance routines, metrics, and review cadences.
• Ensures logistics processes within assigned scope are standardized, practical, and aligned with broader logistics objectives.
• Leads cross-functional improvement initiatives within assigned scope.
• Partners with Operations, Network Design, Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal, Corporate Compliance, and Internal Audit.
• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for logistics categories including truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, parcel, drayage, warehousing, brokerage, packaging, and other transportation-related services.
