The specialist coordinates bookings, cargo tracking, hazardous shipments, equipment, and customer transactions to keep transportation operations moving accurately and efficiently. Customer service and timely problem resolution support internal teams, customers, and vendors.

What you'll do

• Create and update trailer, vehicle, bill of lading, and transport bookings
• answer customer questions, track cargo, and resolve issues
• enter and approve hazardous shipments using 49 CFR
• arrange transloads, deliveries, and pickups
• manage documentation, rating, pre-auditing, invoicing, and problem resolution
• collect payments for vehicle bookings
• and coordinate equipment. Occasional nights may be required.

Why this role

Requires four years of transportation-industry experience; an associate’s degree and DOT 49 CFR HazMat Carrier Requirements (Water) certification are preferred. May cover nightside shifts when other team members are out.
