Wire and CNC Technician

Job overview

The Wire and CNC Technician role is onsite in Utica, NY, with a Monday–Friday first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The posted annual salary range is $36,000–$52,500. The role supports production and quality standards at Indium Corporation. The technician programs, sets up, and operates CNC and EDM equipment to complete production work from drawings and specifications. The role also supports operator training, product inspection, documentation, and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Set up, program, and operate CNC and EDM machines
• interpret drawings, engineering plans, blueprints, and specifications
• train operators on basic functions
• follow procedures and complete documentation
• inspect products
• resolve or escalate problems and recommend improvements
• maintain clean work areas and machines.
