Child Development Associate (CDA) Trainee

Job overview

The Child Development Associate (CDA) Trainee role is onsite in Salisbury, MD, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Starting pay is $15.25 per hour. The trainee supports SHORE UP! Inc.’s Early Head Start program and children’s development in a safe, healthy learning environment. Working alongside teachers while completing required coursework, the trainee helps plan and implement learning experiences that support children’s intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development. The role also encourages family involvement and supports relationships between children and their families.

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing learning experiences

• complete coursework and requirements toward a CDA credential
