Water Damage Restoration Technician

Job overview

The Water Damage Restoration Technician role is onsite in Spartanburg, SC. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The technician supports residential and commercial water restoration jobs for ServiceMaster Restore E11550 - Haven Restoration Group. The role helps complete restoration work by monitoring drying, performing water extraction and directed demolition, adjusting drying plans based on meter readings, and documenting job progress. It also involves explaining work and next steps to customers and coordinating issues with supervisors and company staff.

What you'll do

• Retrieve work orders, check routes, and load job equipment and supplies
• explain restoration processes and next steps to customers
• complete assigned jobs and maintain quality control
• perform water extraction, contents pack-out, disposal of non-salvageable materials, and light construction or demolition as directed
• monitor water jobs and adjust drying plans based on meter readings
• maintain equipment and report malfunctions
• inspect completed jobs, obtain customer signatures, and request payment when necessary
• document work with notes, photos, and required records
• communicate customer issues and job activity to supervisors and staff.
