Level 1 Help Desk Technician

The Level 1 Help Desk Technician role is onsite in East Taunton, MA, supporting an education client in southeastern Massachusetts during the client’s working hours, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., five days a week. Pay is $42,000–$52,000 per year. The technician joins Custom Computer Specialists’ Onsite Services Team to provide end-user support. The technician handles support requests from intake through resolution, provides in-person device and application assistance, and trains users as needed. The role contributes to client satisfaction by delivering timely, clear support in a technically diverse environment.

What you'll do

• Provide deskside support
• maintain the ticketing system
• manage tickets through resolution
• support computers, Chromebooks, printers, fax machines, peripherals, A/V systems, Webex, client applications, and mobile applications
• troubleshoot operating systems and applications
• provide end-user training
• maintain knowledge of IT technologies and trends.
