The manager leads issue campaigns and advocacy staff, coordinates advocacy with regional organizing, and runs the network’s endorsement process. The role helps residents participate in policy and budget decisions while ensuring campaigns, endorsements, and lobbying records follow applicable organizational rules.

What you'll do

• Supervise and coach advocacy staff
• set quarterly priorities and regional work plans
• coordinate with regional organizing managers
• lead Powering Economic Justice campaigns
• support local budget campaigns
• track legislation and budget cycles
• prepare policy memos, briefs, and talking points
• organize advocacy days and prepare residents to testify
• build relationships with elected officials and partners
• register and report lobbying where required
• manage candidate questionnaires, interviews, scoring, recommendations, committee records, and post-election tracking
• ensure endorsement work is conducted in the appropriate entities.
