The Certified Nursing Assistant role is onsite at Nelson Care Center in Alexandria, MN. The schedule is 32 hours per pay period, 2:30 p.m.–11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, working 3 out of 4 weekends and a higher holiday rotation. Pay is $28 per hour for scheduled weekends and holidays, with a base wage of $22.60–$24.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and location. The role supports residents in the nursing department at a skilled nursing facility. The CNA provides hands-on assistance that supports residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and daily well-being. By following each resident’s Plan of Care, monitoring and reporting health changes, and communicating with the nursing team, the CNA contributes to a supportive, home-like care environment.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on care with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and mobility according to each resident’s Plan of Care
• support meals, hydration, companionship, and social engagement
• monitor and report vital signs, skin conditions, and behavioral or physical changes to the nursing team
• help create a comfortable and respectful home-like atmosphere.
