Supply Chain Lead

The Supply Chain Lead role is onsite in Syracuse, NY. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. Thruway Fasteners is a distributor and supply chain partner serving manufacturers across North America and internationally. The lead supports product availability, supplier performance, and cost optimization by developing supplier relationships and sourcing strategies. The role works with suppliers and internal teams to improve supply chain efficiency, service, and profitability.

What you'll do

• Identify, evaluate, and develop suppliers based on quality, reliability, service, capacity, and cost
• build supplier partnerships
• support sourcing strategies for customer requests for quotation, including supplier selection, pricing, lead times, and supply planning
• contribute to complex and high-risk quotes
• collaborate with Procurement, Sales, and Operations
• support cost reduction and margin improvement
• analyze performance metrics
• maintain ERP data integrity
• improve supply chain processes and systems
• participate in supplier meetings, business reviews, and occasional site visits.
