IT & Cybersecurity Manager

Job overview

The IT & Cybersecurity Manager role is onsite in Austin, TX. Compensation is up to $120 per hour, based on experience. Yotta Energy develops battery energy storage systems intended to make renewable energy more accessible, resilient, and efficient. The role exists to oversee internal technology operations and cybersecurity initiatives, keeping company technology services reliable and systems and data protected. It coordinates employee support, managed IT provider and vendor relationships, security programs, compliance, and technology improvements to support a secure and efficient workplace.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary liaison with the managed IT service provider
• manage day-to-day technology services, hardware lifecycle, user access, inventory, Microsoft 365, software deployments, conference room technology, and employee support
• lead cybersecurity initiatives with the provider
• monitor risks and coordinate remediation
• oversee endpoint security, antivirus, MFA, email security, and identity management
• coordinate vulnerability assessments, audits, awareness training, incident response, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• manage IT vendors, budgets, purchasing, projects, and contracts
• maintain policies, standards, asset records, license compliance, audit support, and operating procedures.
