The Early Childhood Learning Teacher Assistant role is onsite at Town of Webb Union School in Old Forge, NY. Compensation is $16 per hour, and the schedule is approximately 25–30 hours per week within center hours of 6:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. The role supports Healthy Kids Programs’ early-learning services for children ages 10 months through 3 years. The assistant works with the early-childhood team to support classroom activities, routines, and learning experiences that help young children develop. The role also promotes family communication and supports children’s health, welfare, and safety in accordance with program standards.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with the childcare lead on hands-on activities aligned with the Creative Curriculum
• communicate with families through the Playground App
• foster positive adult-child interactions using the CLASS method
• support children’s education, health, welfare, and safety while following ECERS/ITERS standards and protocols.

Why this role

Part-time role for the 2026–2027 school year; eligible school-age children may receive employer-paid childcare during the employee’s work hours. Minimum qualification is a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year working with children under 13.
