The Air Traffic Control Administrative Shift Supervisor role is onsite at Biggs Army Airfield at Fort Bliss, TX. Compensation is not specified. The position is contingent upon contract award and supports Biggs Tower operations across three daily watches. The supervisor manages the efficiency of the assigned watch while performing normal air traffic control duties. The role directs watch personnel, monitors coordination and emergency lines, supports controller training and evaluations, and maintains operational records to help keep tower operations effective around the clock.

What you'll do

• Manage tower operations during an assigned 8-hour watch and perform normal air traffic control duties
• direct subordinate work
• ensure coordination and emergency lines are monitored and answered within ten seconds
• support on-the-job training and controller evaluations
• maintain facility records and controller proficiency
• report equipment outages and notify search-and-rescue of aircraft in distress.
