The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Silver Spring, MD. Compensation is $21.50 per hour. Jubilee Association of Maryland supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living in and enriching their communities. The professional provides in-person support in homes and community settings, following each person's plans and supporting daily living, relationships, and self-determination. The role contributes to Jubilee's mission by helping people pursue personal, family, social, and spiritual goals.

What you'll do

• Provide daily support in homes and communities according to person-centered plans
• assist with community participation, relationships, household tasks, personal care, appointments, medication, mobility, exercise, money management, and transportation
• complete required training and certifications
• follow service and care plans
• document services and progress
• communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and families
• attend relevant meetings
• and accompany supported individuals on trips when assigned.

The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 3:00–9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. The posting requires a high school diploma, a current U.S. driver's license, and required training and certifications; direct support experience is a plus but not required.
