Desktop Support Technician

Job overview

The Desktop Support Technician role is onsite in Madison, WI, with frequent statewide travel; compensation is $23–$26 per hour. The role supports the Wisconsin Court System’s computer and network infrastructure across more than 6,000 devices. The position maintains and supports court system hardware and software, installs and troubleshoots equipment at courthouses and offices, and provides technical assistance to employees. Field service and response to technology emergencies help keep court operations supported.

What you'll do

• Maintain and support Wisconsin Court System software and hardware
• install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, and other equipment at courthouses and offices
• provide technical customer support
• perform field service upgrades and issue resolution
• respond to unplanned system failures or natural disasters involving production systems.
