- Assist the orthodontist during procedures
- prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- take impressions, digital scans, photographs, and X-rays as permitted
- assist with orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision
- educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
- maintain records
- follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control protocols
- and support patient flow and inventory.
