Senior Vice President of Development

The Senior Vice President of Development is an onsite, full-time role in Minneapolis, MN, paying $190,000–$200,000 per year. Hennepin Arts brings people together through performances and educational programs while preserving historic theaters and activating the District. The SVP leads individual and institutional fundraising to strengthen the organization’s financial support and long-term sustainability. The role directs giving strategies, donor and funder relationships, fundraising staff, campaigns and events, budget oversight, and coordination with the CEO, Board, and marketing team.

What you'll do

• Lead individual giving strategies, major-donor cultivation, planned giving, and donor stewardship
• secure grants and sponsorships and manage proposals and reporting
• lead fundraising staff
• collaborate with the CEO and Board
• oversee fundraising events, campaigns, volunteers, and community partners
• coordinate fundraising communications
• manage the fundraising budget, monitor progress, and ensure legal and ethical compliance.
