The role also includes enforcing facility rules, responding to emergencies, documenting incidents, and completing assigned maintenance or opening and closing duties.

What you'll do

• Guard assigned pool areas
• enforce aquatic facility rules and regulations
• perform first aid as necessary and respond to medical emergencies
• record incidents and complete accident reports when needed
• perform assigned maintenance and opening or closing duties on early or late shifts
• maintain fitness through daily running, swimming, or other exercise
• attend scheduled training
• and maintain good public relations. Current lifeguard certification and a background check are required.
