Senior Project Accountant

The Senior Project Accountant role is hybrid in Seattle, WA, with expected total compensation of $90,000–$120,000 per year, including performance-based bonuses. The role supports KPFF’s Special Projects Group, an engineering division working on civil, structural, mechanical, and infrastructure projects. The position provides project financial information and accounting support to Project Managers and Principals, helping manage costs, budgets, billing, collections, and reporting. It also contributes to efficient accounting workflows and continuous process improvement across the reporting center.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain projects, expenses, contract information, budgets, and tasks in the project cost accounting system
• support project setup, budget tracking, client billings, collections, and ERP education
• prepare and coordinate monthly billings
• maintain and document accounting workflows
• prepare month-end and year-end reports
• track reporting-center budgets
• monitor accounts receivable
• provide project financial information
• collaborate with corporate accounting and project cost accountants.
