Assistant Construction Manager

The role develops knowledge of schedules, processes, and trade partners, with increasing responsibility intended to prepare the employee to manage homes independently.

What you'll do

• Monitor daily construction activity, confirm trades are onsite and completing work, and flag potential delays
• coordinate subcontractors and suppliers and follow up on corrections
• inspect homes at key construction stages, create punch lists, and verify repairs
• promote safety and maintain clean, accessible jobsites
• interpret plans, scopes, and buyer selections
• prepare for municipal inspections and coordinate corrections
• support quality inspections, homeowner orientations, final walks, and closings
• document field conditions and communicate status to internal teams.
