Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist role is onsite in Richmond, KY. Compensation is $45,000–$55,000 per year. The role reports to the Operations Manager and supports an elder law and estate planning firm serving families through aging, incapacity, long-term care, and other difficult decisions. The generalist manages core HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits support, payroll coordination, reporting, process improvement, and compliance. The work helps build a consistent, accountable workplace and supports the quality of service clients receive.

What you'll do

• Support employee relations, coaching, conflict resolution, corrective action, performance reviews, and documentation
• coordinate recruiting and onboarding
• support benefits enrollment and payroll questions
• maintain applicant tracking and HRIS systems
• prepare reports
• improve HR workflows and documentation
• maintain compliant practices and accurate confidential records
• support audits and policy implementation.
