Corporate Attorney Associate, Private Investment Funds

The Corporate Attorney Associate, Private Investment Funds role is onsite in Washington, DC. Base salary is $310,000–$445,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, credentials, and location. The associate joins a growing private investment funds practice focused on venture and private equity funds and related structures. The role advises fund sponsors, managers, and other stakeholders on fund formation, structuring, operations, governance, and regulatory matters. Through sophisticated drafting and client counseling, the associate supports the formation and ongoing representation of investment funds and related organizations.

What you'll do

• Advise sponsors and investment managers on private fund formation and structuring
• represent venture capital and private equity funds through formation and ongoing operations
• advise venture studios, incubators, accelerators, and crypto-related funds
• draft, review, and negotiate fund formation and investment management documents
• counsel on governance, operations, regulatory considerations, and corporate and securities laws
• collaborate with attorneys across related practice areas.
