What you'll do

• Enroll and recertify families under California Department of Education and CalWORKs I, II, and III guidelines
• interview clients and review eligibility documentation
• provide technical assistance to providers and parents
• maintain family and provider files and enter demographic, provider, and rate information
• calculate family fees and explain policies
• guide families on child care options and follow up on referrals
• interpret applicable regulations
• submit monthly reports
• participate in file audits
• and assist with outreach events. The Level II role may carry a greater workload, work with limited oversight, train staff, and assist with policy, trend, training, and compliance work. Variable hours and days, out-of-area meetings and conferences, and emergency contact outside scheduled hours are required.
