Wound Care Technician — Full-Time

The Wound Care Technician — Full-Time role is onsite in Englewood, CO, with pay of $22–$25 per hour. The Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine provides wound-care and hyperbaric-medicine management and consulting services to healthcare providers. Working under clinic-team direction, the technician supports patient care and safety through clinical assistance, documentation, patient education, and clinic operations, including approved hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

What you'll do

• Under supervision, take vital signs, document in the electronic medical record, measure and photograph wounds, and send or fax wound-care supply and home-care orders
• assist physicians and registered nurses with procedures within scope
• clean and stock patient-care areas
• follow infection-control and safety procedures
• provide patient education under direction
• provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy for approved conditions
• support scheduling and phone intake
• maintain accurate records and patient confidentiality
• participate in cross-training
• patient transportation may be required if offered at the work location.
