Job overview

Senior Civil/Structural Engineer, hybrid, Framingham, MA. Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00. This role reviews civil and structural designs of new and existing power generation projects. This role provides subject matter expertise in civil and structural design, review of EPC Contract specifications, and review of drawings and calculations by others.

What you'll do

• Reviewing civil and structural designs of new and existing power generation projects including wind, solar, hydro, battery energy storage systems, and thermal projects.
• Supporting Project Managers during transactional due diligence reviews.
• Reviewing design codes applicable to the project under review, EPC Contract specifications, and design and equipment manufacturer drawings and calculations prepared by others.
• Providing subject matter expertise in civil and structural design, review of EPC Contract specifications, and review of drawings and calculations by others.
• Assisting with monitoring and managing projects, developing sales proposals, and completing technology/bankability reviews as needed.
• Providing Owner’s Engineering and Advisory support.
• Providing high level reviews of engineer’s finite element analysis models, hand and software generated calculations, design drawing packages, and the overall design basis/methodology selected and deployed related to peer reviews, fatal flaw reviews, conformance to industry standard practices, conformance to appropriate design codes, and conformance with project specifications.
