The Vendor Buyer — Purchasing role is onsite in Scotts Valley, CA, and is full-time. Pay is $20–$24 per hour. The position supports FullSteam’s purchasing operations through finished branded product procurement and vendor coordination. The buyer monitors inventory, plans purchases, negotiates pricing, and resolves order and invoice issues. Accurate purchasing and product records, timely deliveries, and effective vendor relationships help the team control costs and maintain appropriate stock.

What you'll do

• Monitor daily stock alert reports
• plan and schedule purchases based on inventory needs, discounts, and demand
• negotiate pricing and purchasing agreements
• maintain vendor relationships
• resolve purchase order, invoice, and pricing discrepancies
• coordinate product updates and transitions
• review vendor price changes
• monitor vendor insurance documentation
• track purchase orders and deliveries
• coordinate excess inventory returns
• maintain purchasing, inventory, and product information in NAVision
• perform administrative duties and collaborate with internal departments and vendors.
