• Advise staff on clinical and managerial decisions and delegate responsibilities
• participate in inspections and resident assessments
• support development and communication of care plans
• make rounds to monitor nursing standards and resident needs
• monitor staff documentation and report problem areas
• coordinate work assignments and staff meetings
• provide direct care as needed.
